The Women’s Ephemera Files (WEF) comprise a variety of materials relating to women’s issues, women’s liberation, feminism and sexism over the course of the 20th century, with the bulk of the material originating in the latter decades (1960s-1990s). The collection includes newsletters, pamphlets, bibliographies, posters, organizing materials, position papers, essays, conference proceedings, meeting minutes and internal documents from various women’s organizations among others and covers topics including women’s health, discrepancies in employment and pay, female sexuality, women in academia, violence against women, the Equal Rights Amendment, women in the arts, religion, politics and various women’s organizations.
